2.0: Event Log
1. DUNGEON: THE STORM AROUND AVISLE CITY
Honey, there's a storm brewing.
… Actually, it's already brewed! Adventurers who arrive in the ON world this month will notice a vicious storm of thunder, lighting and hail roaring across Avisle City and its surrounding area. And while they're free to go "nope", and opt to keep to safer locations, they'll find that it's very easy to misstep and end up lost in the storm…
Task: Navigate to Avisle City and put a stop to the storm.
Reward: ?̷̡̱̠̺̭̪̯͋̆̒ͅ?̷͈͈̹͇͆̐̈͌̀?̷̨͇̤̲̱̭̙͙̣͒̒̓̏̂͒̓̂̕

Chamber 1: blow your house down
Better hold onto your hats, the storm whipping around the city is brutal and deadly, and it's easy to get blown off your feet and sent hurtling through the air into the first solid object in your trajectory—hopefully another soft, squishy person.
Hapless Adventurers aren't the only ones whipping through the air either. From the city, miscellaneous pieces of property rain down from the sky—doors, flower pots, clothes to name a few. From the Windhaven Woodlands however, small Hummingshrews and Bloobettes will find themselves displaced in the storm. Terrified and unused to being airborne, Adventurers might find themselves being stabbed by the tiny beak of a Hummingshrew or pulled into the gelatinous bodies of a Bloobette.
While you fight your way through the chaotic wind and the rain toward Avisle City, eventually, a loud C R A C K will resound through the air, and that's all the warning you'll get before huge windmill blades will start to hurtle toward you. Better get good at dodging!
Chamber 2: the water is mischievous
Whoever manages to dodge all of the windmill blades will find that once they're lodged in the ground, they actually make decent shields against the howling wind, and by ducking behind them as much as possible, it's possible to make it through the storm to the city.
However, the closer to the city you get, the higher the water underfoot becomes until it reaches nearly your waist. And sometimes… the water seems alive. It swirls around your body, urging you to drink as if the water were the most appealing of wines. The temptation will feel unusually strong, almost hypnotic in its call.
Anyone who drinks the water will start to notice their limbs transform into water. While looking like water, they will remain solid for the first few minutes, and the effect can be counterattacked by squeezing the affected limb like wringing water from a towel. Failure to squeeze out the water will result in the body part being washed away.
Chamber 3: a long boy
Upon finally staggering to Avisle City, Adventurers will at last come face to face with the source of the destruction: a massive serpentine dragon coiled in the clouds above the city. It seems ignorant of the plight and panic ravaging the city, but if any of the brave (and clever) among you manage to launch an attack to where it's stationed in the sky, a deep rumble of thunder will follow before…
BOSS: Water Dragon
HP: Infinite
Difficulty: ★★★★★
Weakness: Earth, Sun
Resistance: Water
Attacks:
The dragon will not come down for the duration of the fight, making it extremely difficult to launch any counterattacks, and while the fight goes on, the storm continues to ravage the city, pushing the water levels steadily higher.
Ultimately, one of the Avisle leaders will pull you aside. It seems there's going to have to be another way to survive the storm, and violence isn't it.
HP: Infinite
Difficulty: ★★★★★
Weakness: Earth, Sun
Resistance: Water
Attacks:
- Elemental Imbalance: The dragon will send a rainbow cascading down from the clouds and onto you, imbuing you with an element at random. The element will cloak your entire body, forcing you to attack uncontrollably until the element dissipates.
- Bubble Beam: Large bubbles will appear in the field around you, steadily draining you of mana until an ally breaks you out. If you're not freed fast enough, the bubble will drain all your mana, rendering you unconscious.

Ultimately, one of the Avisle leaders will pull you aside. It seems there's going to have to be another way to survive the storm, and violence isn't it.
2. CHOICE: PEACE IS GOING TO HAVE TO BE AN OPTION
Among the chaos and the panic, a few of the guild leaders take you aside. The first one to speak proposes this: this isn't the first time the Dragon has beset Avisle, and ancient texts speak of a ritual that will draw the beast back to sleep's embrace.
One of the others will shake their head, arguing that there's no way to know if any such ritual will work. The priority should be evacuating the city for safer lands, even if it means leaving Avisle City to fall.
And so, it seems you have a choice to make.
Perform the Ritual: In the courtyard of the Guild Hub, people have gathered to seal the dragon away. The ritual itself involves an incantation and an ancient dance, ending with the sacrifice of an important memory as a show of sincerity. No one knows for certain if the ritual will work, but they do know that the more who give, the higher the chances.
Adventurers desperate to ensure the ritual works may also offer up their soul gem, but this will result in them forgetting their identity entirely.
Evacuate the City: Those of little faith may instead choose to evacuate the city. The citizens are injured and wearied by the torrential rain, and the structure of the city continues to break dangerously from the storm. Adventurers can opt to help the citizens gather what they can, find their loved ones, and escape to the highgrounds of the Dandelion Fields.
But beware, those who chose to save Princess Andalina last month will be met with disdain, and the citizens may not be as cooperative with their attempts to help.
Do Nothing: Hey, isn't this all a game? Maybe you choose to just wait out the storm until you're back in your cozy bed in Dodo House.
Players may thread any number of outcomes, but can only report one of their threads here for rewards!
3. DODO DOWNPOUR
In Crane City, April means spring showers—though it seems like it's really coming down lately! The storms are inescapable, so enjoy going to work and getting hit by sheets of rain everyday, and be sure to pack an umbrella. Though sometimes the storms are intense enough to break them, so you might have to share. The weather is a tumult, but not impossible to travel through… yet.And while Dodo House is usually a safe haven, the weather affects it just as badly. Your room may spring a very sad, persistent leak, its windows blown open by harsh wind–maybe you should try staying with a neighbor? The house itself sounds sad as well, creaking and occasionally losing power, leaving its residents in the dark. But it does its best to keep some fireplaces and fresh towels available at all times, and floating candles will (spookily) hang in the air to help light anyone's way.
4. CRANE CITY BLUES
Whether it's at home or on your way to get groceries, sopping wet, the rain might subside just enough to see a rainbow. How pretty! Though the sight of it will stir something in you, even in the OFF world. Namely, it's a surge of those pesky elements. Thought you were free of those in Crane City? This rainbow is apparently here to remind you that you're never safe.
♔ Light & Fire: All this rain is dampening your inner light. Characters will experience a seemingly unshakeable melancholy, one that fluctuates with the weather. Sunny means less depression, stormy means more. Good luck getting out of bed when the rain is really bearing down.
♔ Water & Earth: Everything you touch turns wet, even if you escape inside. This includes clothes, shoes, any surface you come into contact with, and other people (not like that). Try not to catch a cold! It won't be easy. Weather around you seems to get even worse too, as though a storm (or hail, icy rain, etc) cloud is following over your head.
♔ Wind & Dark: Something about the rain just really makes you think dramatically about the past–which might be weird, depending on the choices you've made this month? This nostalgic spell might make you want to share elements of your tragic backstory... to anyone who's willing to listen. Very noir.

[While the rain does dampen his mood, there's a strangely nostalgic tug in Roland's heart that turns into an irresistible pull when he receives company by one of Dodo's windows. His tone turns pensive as he watches the water droplets dot the windows in droves.]
It rained like this as well . . . when I first hid myself away from a world awash with blood.
B. ON - Performing the ritual
[After being pecked relentlessly by a Hummingshrew that hurtled into his arms (because he insisted on shielding it throughout the chamber), avoiding drinking some insidious water, and staring up at the dragon for most of their ineffectual encounter, Roland chooses to offer his soul gem. He takes the ring in question off of his finger and rests it on his palm, and his gaze is mildly wistful before he turns to his quest partner.]
Before I begin, I would ask you for a favor.
C. OFF - New phone, who dis?
[The absence of memories in tandem with the intermittent darkness makes returning to his suite a challenge. With a stack of fresh towels in one arm, Roland tries his luck on a door by scanning his phone against the lock to no avail. Visibly at a loss, he perks up when someone enters his periphery.]
Ah, apologies. Judging from the lack of response, I appear to have gotten myself lost. [To those who've known him, his voice is stronger—and cheerful—while his eyes are devoid of recognition.] Is this your suite?

She's scooped a lunch bag of goodies and hot water in a thermos for tea and is rushing back to her rooms when she sees him. The monk guy, from the date auction. He'd offered his services and his life so easily and neither had been needed. God, what a dope. It feels distantly familiar; despite the uncertainty, there is a foundation of strength and confidence beneath. A darkness which doesn't evoke fear or suspicion, but careful power.
There is a hairline fracture along the top corner of the gem, probably not boding too well considering. For now, looking around, it doesn't seem like anyone nearby is desperately looking for a missing gemstone...]

So he left. Trudging through the soaking landscape with his shoes and socks wrapped in plastic bags and tucked under one arm. Shirts and pants can dry out a lot easier than sneakers, and even if the latter does dry, they;re never the same agai-
Katsuki breaks from his thoughts with the sudden intervention of umbrella and a familiar voice cutting off the rain. He glares over at Izuku, finding that same comfort in his chest to see him again, but still irked he's now stuck under a fucking Nerd's Umbrella. Cause that's exactly what it is.]

Leaving them with this... ritual thing.
Katsuki's skeptical of the entire process, especially then it demands a memory. An important one. Couldn't just be some shit you'd rather forget. He doesn't want to consider it, doesn't want to entertain it, but what choice do they have? There's no indication the dragon's ever going to go away, they can't defeat it, and if it keeps flooding the world, the city itself could be washed off to nothing.
Standing beside Izuku, he's left with the same thoughts in his head that the other hero puts to voice.] And there's no way to get it back... presumably.

Bakugō Katsuki 💥 Boku no Hero Academia
Game Stats: Bakugo is currently a member of the Warrior Guild, naturally leans to the Water element, and is rooming in the Kestrel Suite.
Helpful Links: Bakugo's game info page, his inbox for contact, his au plot points, and his canon fantasy clothes for the ON world.]
▶ ON & OFF WORLD: ARRIVAL
💥 ➊ [Avis Isle: What... the fuck just happened? One second he was tightening the clasp of his gauntlet in the room with the rest of his classmates, mind trained on the single goal that they had to win this approaching war, and then... Loading... There's no more room, there's no more classmates, there's nothing like that anywhere. All of it replaced by a bustling town that looks like it stepped straight out of a damn fairy tale. Bakugo's left frozen in place, standing out like a sore thumb in his black-and-orange hero costume, grenade-styled bracers giving one final 'click' in place. Not that he's paying attention to that, completely blindsided by the sudden transition. People mill about in a mixture of chaotic wandering and practiced rhythm, like a festival or marketplace crowded by bodies going one place and another. The utter speed at which the change happened leaves him with a whiplash that has him questioning the very reality itself. Is this a fucking dream? Did he suddenly have an aneurysm? A Quirk effect?! DRUGS?! None of that gets answered immediately. Not even the bewildered mutter that comes from his wide-eyed, snarl-curled mouth:] What the fuck?!
💥 ➋ [Avis Isle: With some questions answered, not that the answers make a damn lick of sense outside of somehow being in a very real simulation of a MMO video game from back home, Bakugo's no longer standing around in Avisle City's Town Square. He's moved off, gotten some shelter from the strange area, and managed to make off to a rooftop. A tall one. Took several flights of stairs to get to, dammit, but he wasn't going to get any fair view from down in the streets. He had to gain higher ground, get a vantage point to scan the place. It's unbelievable, the scope and detail of this city! And he was just fucking dropped in here like some crazy ass dream?! The people around here he'd demanded answers from only gave him responses akin to NPCs from the prior-mentioned video game, which was both frustrating as hell and somewhat relieving, since it, well... "made sense" if he wanted to get his head around it. But for the time being, Bakugo stays to the rooftop and scans around the place, probably visible to anyone nearby that cares to look up and see this explosive-themed person scouting above.]
💥 ➌ [Avis Isle: It sparks, it pops, it fizzles, but beyond that?-] Are you fucking kidding me?! [-his Quirk's doing nothing! He hoped it was little more than the brain jolt of the transportation, hence taking the stairs rather than blasting his way to the roof, but now that Bakugo's had a while to get some kind of bearings, the other major problem rears its head. Cupping his right hand, he focuses on the orange-hued palm of his glove, fingers curled and willing the powerful detonation of his sweat into the normal disastrous explosions.] Come on! [But try as he might, the results are the same: little more than tiny pops and bursts akin to minuscule firecrackers exploding above the surface of his palm. It's a reality dawning on him in panic and rage as his Quirk seems to have regressed to the same weak version he'd started out with when he was four fucking years old! Maybe you've spotted him nearby, masked-face lit up with the ember-like glow of his pathetic attempts to waken his Quirk? Or perhaps you're more concerned with Bakugo's left hand, as it's starting to drip and ooze water...] WORK, DAMMIT!
💥 ➍ [Avis Isle: So that's it... Dropped in a new world, a new place, shackled by the regression of his homeworld's Quirk and saddled with the burden of this world's elemental magic. In his case... water. A direct opposition to his power. Frustrated, embarrassed, pissed off, and notably soaking wet (for a certain related reason), Bakugo is begrudgingly looking around the next "checkbox" on his list of "drink from the fire hose" style training: the Guild Hub. Being told he "must" join a guild was met with a threatening refusal and angry speculation, but ultimately, he capitulated. Only because this seemed like the best way to gain some information and potentially unlock more of his strength. Since apparently this place wasn't some peaceful marketplace all the damn time. Mind you, he's only here as a visitor, wanting little more than to investigate and learn what this is all about. There's no promises of joining or agreement coming out of his mouth. Are you the one guiding him? Or are you new as well and intrigued about this bristling bomb snarling through the Guild Hub doors? Help if you want, just try not to get your head bitten off.]
💥 ➎ [Crane City: And suddenly, things make a lot more sense, via a massive counter shock that comes from literally "logging out" of the fantasy world. Bakugo comes to with a blink, hand falling to his side with the slick visor resting in his grip. No more shingle-topped wood cottages, no more cobblestone streets, no more thick groves and puffy clouds (okay, the latter remains). Instead, he's staring at a modern city. Perhaps even more modern than the world he came from. Dressed in a casual collection of black jeans, black t-shirt, and red hoodie, hopefully Bakugo didn't just come to standing in the middle of the street like an idiot, or directly in the path of someone else bustling towards him!
NOTE: Feel free to tag into this prompt at a "further" time, using his au plot points as a guide for the life Bakugo'll be "living" once he adjusts to the arrival and getting situated.]
▶ ON WORLD: BRING THE THUNDER
💥 ➊ Blow Your House Down: [Barely arrived and suddenly this shows up in his life! Howling winds and lashing rains, a goddamn typhoon blowing through the world. Yet despite the memories of a different life, a new life, coursing through his mind, Bakugou operates the same as he did back home: a hero. With less than a week of practice with his magic and the nigh-sealed strength of his Quirk under his belt, he has to manage mostly with his physical prowess. Keeps his eyes on the surroundings in case he gets blown into the air, so he can at least be ready not to get smashed into something. But Bakugou's spending most of his time trying to keep people out of danger or assisting with putting up shelter or barricades to press back against the winds. Are you one who assists him with this? Or are you one he's assisting, catching you from the air or knocking aside a piece of debris or wind-blown creature away? Or would you rather handle battling windmill blades together...]
💥 ➋ Chamber 3: A Long Boy: [More and more rain, the storm raging into the city proper now. With the flooding only making things worse, people are looking to higher ground or trying to make some dam or diversion to keep the waters at bay. Neither of those work. But it's getting to the higher ground that finally reveals the culprit. That.. is a fucking dragon. Bakugou stares at it for several seconds, flabbergasted at the sight of it. The stunned surprise finally passes, but he's let with a dark realization that battling the thing wasn't the best option... And yet, what other way is there?] Damn monster. Hey! Find something we can use as a long-range attack! [Yelling at whomever is closest.] If we take that bastard out, the storm stops!
💥 ➌ Chamber 4: Perform the Ritual: [A memory to seal away a dragon. That's the ritual? Bakugou glowers at the collection of people, standing in the back as he listens to the proceedings. Hell no he doesn't like it! Sacrificing something like that isn't a settling thought. Especially since this is a virtual world and his mind is still unsure of whether it's a real thing or not. If they lose the memory in this world, does that really mean it's gone in the "real" world? And he's not stupid enough to thing a ritual like this would accept some flippant memory that no one cares if it's gone or not. Yet all the same, with the dragon being so far out of reach, there's no way to effectively counterattack it. And it's not looking to stop its assault via the weather either.] Doesn't look like we have a fucking choice this time... This better no be permanent.
▶ OFF WORLD: BRING THE THUNDER
💥 ➊ Chamber 1: Dodo Downpour: [Something you learn when living in Japan: you don't go outside and do "normal life" when there's a fucking monsoon overhead. Bakugou's not an idiot; the idea of going to class or to an outing in this kind of weather is ridiculous. Though he would be readily demanding to go out and assist in such weather were he back home, with his Quirk diluted and his magic not happening in the "real world" of Crane City, he's left stranded with the reality that this is how "normal people" have to deal with emergency situations. But dammit if that'll stop him from doing something about it! Even if he can't go outside and help, no one's telling him not to work on barricading the Dodo House. Boards over the windows, mattresses bolstering them, trying to move things to higher floors to avoid flooding, finding people who are getting lost, keeping an eye out for any other problems that come running with the weather. It's exhausting, but Bakugou's not going to stop being a hero just because he's rendered "Quirkless" for the time being.]
💥 ➋ Chamber 2: Crane City Blues: [You'd think dealing with rain, rain, rain, and more rain, he'd be used to being wet by now. Instead, this is something entirely different. Something about that rainbow a while ago, but ever since then, Bakugou's been... wet. Like a damn sponge that won't wring itself out. Which pisses him off even more, since magic isn't supposed to work in the OFF world? Yet his dripping hand is reminding him that's not the case and there's plenty more he's going to have to learn in this world. Frustrated, the saturation means he's going to have to relegate his aid to things that won't mind getting wet, like putting up wooden shutters over windows outside or bailing flooding areas. Bakugou deliberately avoids his room, not wanting to make anything wet in the meantime. Just don't expect something less than an annoyed bark or yell back if you bitch at him for dripping on something you own.]
💥 ➌ Chamber 3: Soul Game Slights: [On top of everything going on in the city, some random piece of jewelry showed up on his bedside table the other morning. A simple chain necklace with a burst-like orange gem clasped within it. Bakugou had been wary of it at first, but after picking it up, he noticed the color of the gem shifting slightly, growing brighter almost. Curiosity got the better of him and he inspected it further, but ultimately grew frustrated over nothing revealed and put it down. Only to notice it dim its shine... Through a few more trials, he found out the gem's unique property: a fucking "mood ring" stone. Changing its luster to reflect his mood. Yeah, fuck that. Bakugou wrapped it in a shirt and put it in the drawer. He's a private guy and those "true feelings" aren't things he wants anyone else knowing about. Unfortunately for him, there's no way he's going to be able to stop the damn thing from vanishing and landing in someone else's possession... Just be prepared for a lot of stress thanks to the stormy weather if it ends up in your hands.]

OFF (5)
The visor is the most telling sign of things. It's been pouring for a bit now, and Riku stops in the rain to regard the boy lacking very initial bearings. He glances around a bit, like he thinks the guy might have logged out with someone else.
But when there isn't anyone, he calls,] Hey! [He waits, then his arm extends to offer the black umbrella he had been using. If he minds the rain, he doesn't show it.]
Let's go back to the house. [This is probably wild as shit to hear from some rando. He gets it.] I'll tell you more there. [A pause.] I'm Riku.

on world.
As such whenever he's on Avis Isle, he's taking quests and helping out whomever he can. He's actually heading back towards town to pick up new quests when he hears a familiar voice shouting. Since it's been a while and he hasn't met anyone he knew before arriving who wasn't falsely implanted in, Izuku thinks for a moment maybe he's overtired and hallucinating. But he thinks if he were hallucinating Kacchan, his mind might make him a little less loud.
...Probably not, though. Izuku follows the voice like it's a magnet, and there's Katsuki just as he remembers. Sort of. ]
Kacchan? [ It's such a stupid question to ask, but somehow Izuku can't think of anything else to say other than that same old nickname. Already there's something in the back of his head telling him he shouldn't be surprised - Katsuki has always been here. While Izuku remembers being apart for the last month, he also remembers something else, and it makes him dizzy for a moment.
Maybe that's just the relief, though. ]

off, 2
That means...?
... It means something weird is happening, again. She doesn't come to this conclusion due to her mood.
She comes to this conclusion because this poor guy in front of her is soaked through. She glances at the stack of wood he's dripping on, and back at the window, and tilts his head.]
Yooooouuu... haven't taken a trip outside lately, have you?

[This is one hell of an introduction to the world - torrential downpours, gale force winds... Rose thought she was done with never-ending rain once they'd dealt with Forton, but the trickle in Pendrago had nothing on this storm. Light as she is, there's several times that Rose gets swept off her feet and sent cartwheeling through the air with no small amount of cursing until she careens into some poor sap who happens to be in the way, desperately trying to cling to them so she won't go sailing off again. Sorry if that someone is you!]
2A. OFF - Spring Showers:
[Finally having figured out how to escape from the ridiculous weather online, Rose thought she'd be free from the crazy for a while. But oh no! Instead she's met with a slew of what she can only call false memories and a completely foreign world to stump her. The cellphone thing is an utter mystery, the house where she's residing at an almost literal nightmare... It makes her grateful some things remain familiar and simple, like umbrellas. Well, almost familiar. The one thing she's discovered is her AU self also has a thing for fun yet practical, meaning she has one of those umbrellas that opens with the push of a button and is spending some time outside just periodically playing with it, opening and closing without much thought, at least until she almost pops a passerby in the face when it shoots out from the handle.]
Ack! Sorry about that!
[Or maybe it does accidentally bean you? Oops?]
Quest 1. OFF - Crabby Crabby Crabby:
[Talk about seafood delight! There was no way Rose could pass up the opportunity of a free meal when she heard the call to arms in fighting back against the treacherous hordes of crustaceans, so out among the crabby crowds is she, armed with a wide broom and numerous boxes into which she's sweeping the little blighters. Crab legs, crab cakes, crab rolls... Mmmm~ The thought has her practically salivating with anticipation, though it also has led her to forgetting her surroundings to a degree: she's swept her way into the center of the sea of crabs to the point where she's surrounded and they're getting hard to manage on her own.]
Hey, back! Keep back, you jerks! Augh--!
[A number of crabs have latched onto her feet and ankles from behind, and trying to pluck them off only results in her getting a nasty nip on the hand as well.]
OW! You son of a...!
[In her flailing to get the thing off she sends several crabs flying, possibly towards another person else nearby. Or maybe there's a kind person who would lend a hand? Though nobody could blame someone for stopping to laugh at the mess Rose has gotten herself into.]
Quest 2. ON - Smile! You're On Candid Camera:
[Fascinated by the prospect of being able to capture images on film (hey, this is still new to her, okay?), Rose leapt at the quest to help out Lila the gardener and immediately set off to take as many pictures as she can. At times she's simply stopping in the street to snap one of a random person but at others she's hidden herself in bushes, a trash can, behind trees, and anything else large enough to conceal her so she can pop out from something with a grin and exclamation:]
Say cheese!
Can You Feel the Crabs Tonight
Kaito hardly had an excuse for free crab, and in all honesty he simply wanted to get away from the facade of his day to day OFF life without having to log in to the game. So, here he was, making his way downtown, crab-walking at a leisurely rate as he began to scoop various shellshocked creatures into a gargantuan wicker basket.
The empath unfortunately did not account for two things:
1) He would run into his OFF world's former childhood friend turned arch-nemesis.
2) He would become the Pied Piper of crabs.
...Seriously. These things have been scuttling behind him in neat little lines as if he's their King Crab. When Kaito approaches the assailed redhead, he just winds up staring blankly—and the crabs haranguing Rose begin to flock over to Kaito, calmly chilling around his feet, on his shoulders, in his hair... ]
...Yo.
Guess you also went on cleanup duty, huh?
[ It's an impassive greeting, and about the best he can muster in this awkward situation. Kaito still isn't sure where Rose stands with regards to her memories—or if she's even an otherworlder like him as opposed to an unfortunate...
